Tim Ryan, producer and director of On A Rail: Europe, will be a guest on Scott Bass’s Down The Line surf talk radio show this Sunday at 8am. Tim will be talking about producing the surf video, riding trains through Europe with surfboard bags, camera equipment and a large crew and about the waves! You can listen in on AM radio 1360. Tim might be dropping some secrets about a public screening and give-a-ways related to On A Rail, so be sure to listen in.

tour veteran). The show offers candid insight, interesting interviews
and unique information in a live Sunday morning show as well as
podcast on the Internet through Apple’s iTunes, and
XTRASports1360.com.  Already into its second year on XTRA Sports 1360,
San Diego’s Down The Line surf talk radio is also expanding to two
hours beginning March, 2009.

The importance of color correction-We just did a color correct of the movie this week with Gott Color. Colorist David Gott knows a lot about color correction and surfing and we’ve used him many times on multiple projects. Gott thought it would be a good idea to separate each country with a distinct look. I’m sure you will be impressed when you see the final product. Other good news is that once you do a color correct that means you are really, really close to being done. No more changes can be made to the edit after color. We are please to announce that Mutiny Media, XTreme Video, VAS Entertainment and The Surf Network will all be distributing the title. Additionally you can purchase the DVD direct from our site using Google Checkout. So far we have received positive feedback from almost everyone and we are very excited to release the project. “Having many distributors will be great for On A Rail: Europe,” says producer Tim Ryan. “We are now confident that our audience will be able to get a hold of the project by any means possible. Each distributor specializes in a different platform or market so they all will compliment each other.” The official release date for On A Rail: Europe is March 24, 2009.

Our affiliate eurail.com has a great YouTube page full of interesting videos, how-tos and comical European travel stories. We thought this video was a good one to share with all our fans who are gearing up to take the train around Europe. I wish I had seen this video before we did our trip. In hindsight, things would have been a lot easier.

We’ve done a bit of updating around here. We now have this uber fancy blog and a Google Checkout Store so you can pre-order the DVD! We are done editing On A Rail:Europe and are now putting the finishing touches on the DVD-so it will be out soon!
